Privacy contact email: jay@haddowconsulting.com.

Haddow Consulting, based in Victoria, British Columbia, respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information through this website and discovery-call bookings. We aim to handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA where applicable.

Information we collect

When you book a discovery call through Cal.com or contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, and booking details. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential client data in a booking request. This website uses Framer analytics to understand visits and page performance. Framer describes its built-in analytics as cookie-free; we use it for aggregate site measurement, not advertising. This policy does not cover advertising pixels or additional analytics tools.

How we use information and obtain consent

We use personal information to arrange calls, respond to requests, discuss and provide consulting services, maintain business records, and improve the website. We collect, use, and disclose information only for reasonable purposes and with consent, unless permitted or required by law. Providing booking details indicates consent to use them to arrange and follow up on your request; it does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing information needed for a service may prevent us from providing it.

Service providers and disclosures

We use Framer to host this website and provide built-in analytics, and Cal.com to manage discovery-call bookings. Those providers may process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to foreign laws and lawful access. We share information with service providers as needed to operate these services, or where required or permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information. External websites and booking services have their own privacy practices; review their policies before submitting information.

Retention and safeguards

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for its stated purpose and applicable legal requirements, then securely delete or anonymize it where feasible. Where PIPA requires retention of information used to make a decision directly affecting an individual, we retain it for at least one year after use so that individual has a reasonable opportunity to obtain access. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information’s sensitivity. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your privacy rights and questions

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern by contacting Haddow Consulting’s privacy contact at jay@haddowconsulting.com. We may verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law, subject to permitted exceptions and extensions. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with an updated date. We will seek additional consent where required by law.
